Tyax Trail Tour

Our guides will take you on some of the best local singletrack located near Tyax Resort. Based on the group’s ability, the route includes a few short climbs and spectacular views over the Bridge River Valley. This area boasts some of the best wildflowers in B.C., so have your cameras ready.
Duration: ½ Day
Type of riding: Cross-country; some moderate downhill sections
Distance: 5-10 km / 3-6 miles
Length of Ride: 3 hours
Riding Ability: Intermediate to Advanced

Chilcotin Explorer
Tour |
Spend the day exploring our finest cross-country routes. We have a selection of easily accessed day rides including alpine passes, long winding downhill singletrack trails and superb valley bottom rides through spectacular wildflowers. Some rides start from the Tyax Resort, while truck shuttles are required to access other trails.
Duration: 1 Day
Type of riding: Cross-country; some moderate downhill sections
Distance: 10-20 km / 6-12 miles
Length of Ride: 5 hours
Riding Ability: Intermediate to Advanced

Spruce Lake Tour |
This tour departs by floatplane from Tyax Resort, and flies you into Spruce Lake – located on the alpine’s edge at an elevation of 5,100 feet. From Spruce Lake, your group will ride more than 25 kms of rolling singletrack along the Gun Creek Trail through the most spectacular meadows of wildflowers and ever-changing landscapes all the way back to Tyax Resort. Your group can either ride back to the resort or a truck shuttle will be provided.
Duration: 1 Day
Type of riding: Cross-country; some technical downhill sections
Distance: 25+ km / 16+ miles
Length of Ride: 4-7 hours
Riding Ability: Intermediate to Advanced

Warner Lake
Tour |
This tour departs by floatplane from Tyax Resort, and flies you into Warner Lake, located in the alpine at 6,100 ft. From Warner Lake, your group will ride more than 40 kms of rolling single-track along the Gun Creek Trail past Trigger, Hummingbird and Spruce Lakes. The trail is mostly buffed and narrow with some technical and exposed sections. We recommend riding the Spruce Lake Tour before embarking on this epic singletrack adventure.
